The first thing to know about Writesonic is that it is no longer a general-purpose AI writing tool. As of 2026 it has been repositioned as an AI Search Visibility platform — built to measure how your brand appears inside generative AI answers. The old pitch of writing (Writesonic), web-connected chat (Chatsonic) and chatbots (Botsonic) in one subscription is no longer what the pricing page leads with.
Pricing moved with it. The free plan is gone, and entry is Starter at $79/month billed annually, then Basic at $199 and Growth at $399. If you arrive expecting the old $16/month Individual plan, the numbers are an order of magnitude apart. If what you want is a cheap all-in-one for writing articles, this is no longer that product.
